Mixer virgin

I've been given a big, stainless steel mixer by my sister. I'm quite excited about it but am a complete mixer virgin and there's no instruction book so I could do with a bit of guidance.

It has 3 attachments - a whisk, a dough hook and one in the shape of an 'A' (a copy of the Kenwood 'K')

So if you use your mixer a lot what sort of things do you use it for? I make cakes and cookies now and again normally, so can use it for those. What about pastry? Bread presumably (never tried it)

Can you inspire me please? I don't want it to end up in the garage.

What model is it? We could try and find the instructions for you online?

It's called a Delta, not sure what model. I've googled it but can't find much.

It's pretty straightforward though, just has a 1-6 speed dial and a pulse. That's all, no other gadgets just the 3 attachments.

Well I use mine for cakes, pastry, pizza dough, bread, meatballs/burgers. It's really handy although I do find in order to use it I had to find a worktop space for it as it's too big and heavy to get out every time. I think it would have ended up in the garage as you've already mentioned!!
