The cheap freeze the bowl sort, not a stand alone one.
I have an ice cream mad DD2, who also pinched half my lemon sorbet at the restaurant last night.
She rather fancies having a go at making her own frozen deserts.
Anyone got a good machine or any tips. Thanks

I have a Magimix 'Le Glacier'. Tip would be to get the biggest version you can fit in your freezer. Another tip would be that it definitely needs to freeze overnight before use. Final tip, make sure your mixture is quite cold before it goes into the machine.

I've got a Philips one which has a disc to freeze rather than the whole bowl. It works fine and fits into my standard size freezer drawers unlike my old magimix. I agree with Cogito's tips too.
