Got a packet of it from Tesco but am unsure if it is a traditional tomatoey sauce? Or just olive or chilli oil and Parmesan or butter?

I do a mix of olive oil and butter. Heat the fat and throw in some fresh sage, till it becomes crisp. Add a little bit of red chilli, sugar and good quality rock salt. Wait till you get a lovely aroma and then take off the heat.

That's it. Mix with the pumpkin ravioli. Sublime!

Thanks Flatbread. Didn't have any sage or chillis - but did put a drizzle of chilli oil and some grated parmesan over it - and it was lovely. Also had a side of mushrooms done in the chilli oil too.

I would just drizzle some olive oil over and some Parmesan cheese. Some dried chillies too' if you like them. Was it nice? Tesco food is usually bleurch.

They were Tesco Finest - usually £2.95 reduced to 70p. So I thought I'd give it a go. And it was really nice tbh. Not sure I'd spend £2.95 mind...
Didn't have any olive oil either... am now thinking I need to stock up my store cupboard!

Bargain! You should have got loads and frozen them! Was it a special offer or were they near sell by? I think extra virgin olive oil is on special at Tesco ATM.

I do pretty much the same recipe as flatbread.

Was it a special offer? If so I'll go and get some as dd adores it.

No - use by date was today.
I know - I bought 2 packets - but wasn't sure if I'd like it or not. I don't think you could eat a large portion as it was quite sweet.

I usually go for mushroom. Pumpkin can be sweet and spinach and ricotta can be a bit sickly sometimes.
