Preparing fish pie in advance

Can I make up a fish pie today and keep it in the fridge overnight then do the oven bit tomorrow, when we want it?

Sorry for the extremely dumb question but I usually make things as and when I need them but I have more time today than tomorrow and anyway I feel I should know these simple things

I am no expert - but this is how we do it with no probs.
When you make your pie, do you precook the fish before covering with the sauce? If it is all cooked thoroughly and then chilled should be ok. Well, I do this and no-one has been ill from it. I just check that the fish is very fresh. If you don?t pre cook the fish and top with a warm sauce that half cooks the fish etc ready to pop in oven to finish it (as some recipes suggest), I would change it and cook it until opaque first. One or the other - either totally "raw" with cold cheese/white sauce or totally cooked through, chilled thoroughly and stored for minimum possible.
Wouldn?t personally use pre frozen fish unless eating immediately

Yes, I do cook it all and it is fresh fish. Thanks XP!
