Ok so a couple of us on various threads have mentioned that we own a copy of the SS but haven't quite got around to cooking anything from it.

Who's got it and more importantly who's successfully made something from it!

Can you give us new owners a good and safe place to start? It's just looking at me at the moment!!!

I've made the beef stew at the back in the cheffy section, many of the pasta recipes (pesto genoese earlier for lunch) use the pizza dough one, chicken liver pate, lots of boiled beef ones (my toddler likes stews). lots of the minestres (i eat soup for lunch ) nothing i've cooked from it so far is duff
