Hi ladies,

I've been put in charge of organising ladies to make cakes for a pampering evening and I need to produce around 250 fairly uniform treats that look like great, taste great, but actually aren't too difficult to reproduce.

I need three or four recipes, that are simple to follow (as I won't be making them all), that will compliment each other and look good together on a plate.

Any ideas?

I'm thinking of theming it by colour maybe (iced sugar cookies, cupcakes and ????) or not. Confused

Got until april to make a plan.

So, any ideas??
Thanks

I would focus on picking some recipes that you like and then think about "prettifying" them. Most things look cute if you just make mini versions, so for brownie type things cut them up small, get those mini-muffin type trays to make minature cupcakes or small cutters to make mini cookies. Other way to make things look pretty is colourful icing and of course a bit of edible glitter always makes everything look good!

Yeah, I do love edible glitter...Grin

Mini is cute, but hard to ration people. Hoping to give people one drink and one cake with their ticket. If I make mini things, that seems a bit stingy...Blush
