Morning,
My ds has asked if we can make some breakfast bars, I thought I'd make some sort of flapjack based concoction, but ds asked if it can have coco pops in (I suspect really he wants a chocolate bar!!!).
Has anyone got any breakfast bar recipes?
Thanks
X

Yes lunchbox treats are the bar for you!

You can pretty much use any cereal, or dried fruits or whatever you want. I don't don't roll them into balls, I shove them in a silicone cake tin, put it in he freezer and cut it up when it's cold. Then I wrap them individually in cling film.

Mmm we've just made them but I've replaced the rice crispies with coco pops to please ds! They look amazing, can't wait till they've set so we can try them.

They are yummy and handy for using up the cereal at the bottom of the box that nobody seems to want to eat!

Rachel Allen's apricot ones are a delight recipe here
