making a cream cheese frosting for a carrot cake and the recipe says 250g 'cream cheese'. Is that like Philadelphia? Because that says soft cheese on the tub but I can't see anything else!!

Philly is fine, but it must be full fat. Low fat cream cheese goes liquid when you beat it or add icing sugar to it.
