Pot Noodle?

DS1 is desperate to take a Pot Noodle (!!) to school in the colder weather. I have contacted his teacher and she has agreed to allow DS1 access to a kettle. But I don't know if I can quite bring myself to allow DS1 to be seen with one at school. What would you think if you heard your DS talking about a boy bringing in a Pot Noodle? Please help! DS works so hard that I want to give him a little reward, but is this the right way?

I thought schools were all about "healthy lunchboxes" these days? I think it will make things tricky for the teacher if other DC find out that someone has been allowed a pot noodle. Maybe think of another way to reward your son's efforts? He could have a flask with something hot in if it's a cold-weather thing. Or even a cup-a-soup (there are some lovely Heinz tomato ones which are liquid).
