does my 1yo eat too many eggs?

She has a one egg omelette or scrambled egg for lunch or dinner at least five days out of seven as she loves it and it is quick and easy to do. Sometimes by itself with cheese cooked into it, sometimes on toast. I just wondered, is this too many eggs (and if so why) or is it okay?

It does sound quite a high proportion of her food to be honest, does she have any pooing problems with that amount of egg-as eggs can make you a bit constipated.
If it were my child (personal opinion only!) I'd maybe cut down by 1 or 2 in the week

I know too many eggs is meant to be bad for the heart, but I'm not sure if that goes for children as well.

Hopefully someone can either dispel this or confirm.

My son loves eggs and would eat a 2 egg omelette every day for breakfast and probably averages 4 a week. He's 9 and extremely active; no problems with constipation and eggs are healthy and full of nutrients. I'd say no problems with your DD's diet provided she's eating a good variety of other foods and including fruit and veg.

there is no limit on the amount of eggs you can eat and she should be fine as long as she is having a variety of other foods:

Eggs
