rosti egg free?

have made potatoe rosti before in my wafflemaker but using a recipe using egg. anyone have a good egg free recipe I could try?

oh, the not rinsing might do the trick.

I make rosti-style potato-cakes using grated potato, plenty of seasoning and a spoon of plain flour. They stick together no problem.

A mass of grated potato, seasoning, the tiniest sprinkling of self raising flower, don't fuss them too much in the pan and they will keep together just dandy.

I made some using:
4 baking potatoes
1 onion
4 table spoons plain flour
4 table spoons cream
salt pepper

looked really pretty with the waffle pattern and were very tasty.
