Meal planning ideas

I've just found this brilliant '30 meals' meal planner . It's based around your family's 30 favorite meals that form the basis of the months meal plans and then adding in other recipes as you have the time and inclination. I started by thinking that 30 meals couldn't possibly be enough but I'm having trouble thinking of 30 different meals that we liked enough to have on a regular basis - I'm up to 18 so far with 6 lunches and 5 sweet things and most of them can be batch cooked and frozen.

I need more time and if it means a little bit of repetitive cooking and eating then so be it!

So far, my meals are...

  1. Prawn and rocket spaghetti www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/seafood-recipes/spaghetti-with-prawns-rocket-spaghet
  2. Pea and prawn risotto
  3. Fish in foil with lemon, wine and herbs
  4. Salmon miso mayo with rice and celery
  5. Quiche with jacket potato and salad (freeze)
  6. Squash pasties (freeze)
  7. Lasagne with salad and bread (freeze)
  8. Pizza
  9. Cheesy veggie burgers
  10. Mussels with cider, green onions and bacon www.channel4.com/4food/recipes/chefs/hugh-fearnley-whittingstall/mussels-with-cider-green-onions-and-bacon-recipe
  11. Fish pie
  12. Chilli with wraps and all the trimmings
  13. Tuna Pasta Bake
  14. Fish stew (from the slow cooker book)
  15. Meatballs in tomato sauce
  16. Shepherd?s Pie
  17. Moussaka
  18. Macarroni cheese with salad www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/wordofmouth/2011/oct/06/how-to-cook-perfect-macaroni-cheese

Anybody else want to post as they go and maybe give others some inspiration for the list?!
