What can I cook tonight that won't hurt DD's mouth?

DD was complaining yesterday that her mouth hurt and refused to eat any dinner. I thought it was just an excuse, but have looked today as she is still refusing to eat anything and she has a huge, painful-looking mouth ulcer in there.

So I have scrapped tonight's plan for vegetable curry - what can I cook that she won't find too uncomfortable? She won't eat creamy things, or mashed potato, which would have been my first instinct.

Custard powder is great relief for a mouth ulcer. Not as a meal, obviously, but dab some on and it will sooth it.

Soup?

Or my failsafe for when my littlies are unwell - bananas and custard?
