Just stick a handful into every soup and stew you make. Bulks it up, adds lots of nutrients, tastes nice.

Chicken pasta soup is much loved in our house. Just chicken stock, any scraps of leftover chicken, chunky veg, lentils and barley then chuck some pasta in to cook before serving.
