Crofton cast iron cookware - Aldi special

Aldi are doing one of their 'specials' this week - Crofton cast iron cookware. I've just treated myself to the low casserole (£25ish) and the deep casserole (£20ish). There is also a low roasting dish (ideal for lasagna) and a griddle pan. They come in a lovely burnt orange (which I bought) and a mid-blue. I can't afford Le Cresuet so thought this might be a good alternative. It feels and looks fantastic and I can't wait to use it.

Just thought I'd share.....

I have just bought the casserole dish with griddle lid without any hesitation because of Aldi's good reputation. I bought a pressure cooker from their sister store LIDL a few years ago and it is great. For half the price of Le Creuset and with a five year guarantee it has to be good. My first dish will be a slow cooked Lamb Vindaloo as seen cooked on TV by The Hairy Bikers.
