I'm having dc2 by elcs on 6th feb so i'm on a mission to re-create the cook menu in my freezer. This looks scrummy but how do i make it?

Google is just giving me joints with sauces or wine suggestions. Can anyone tell me how they would make this?

It sounds very similar to a beef bourguignon, lamb will be lovely instead of beef but I would choose a leaner part of lamb so it's not too fatty a dish.

This is delia's take on it, replace beef with lamb and you may consider cooking it for a bit less time as lamb cooks quicker.

In Greece we also make a lamb stew in tomato sauce with onions (instead if wine) and it's scrumptious. Serve with rice or pasta or boiled potatoes, sprinkle with chopped parsley.
