I have heard all sorts of things being made in one - cakes and roasts... I just want to get on it as soon as I can! Grin

I made 'chicken in a pot' in mine today. Love it!

Get a whole chicken, bung it in. Carrots, parsnips, turnips peeled and cut into chunks. A couple of onions in wedges. A couple of garlic cloves crushed. Some streaky bacon cut up. Some bay leaves and herbs. And a pint of stock, but this was way too much. Could easily just add a mug of stock.

Put it on high for 4 hours and low for about 1.5.

I frequently make stews and curries as well. Tasty and v easy, but can get a bit samey.

There is a ham in coke thread at the moment. I have done that before and it was bloody delicious, am doing that again on NY day.
