Going back to work full time on tuesday :(
I need a few meal ideas that can either be done quickly when i get in, or i can bung in the slow cooker before i go to work.
DP and I will eat pretty much ANYTHING. DD is a tad fussy particular but shes getting better.

Hit me with your best recipes :)

fry onion, then take pack sausages, remove skin and add sausagemeat to pan. Add tin tomatoes and some herbs.

Cook pasta.

Eat.

Cook three finely sliced onions in olive oil for about 20/30 mins (add splashes of water if it's sticking). Put a tin of anchovies with it's oil into a small glass of milk (take out of tin Wink) chop a load of parsley. Cook some spaghetti. Stir anchovies and milk into onions, stir till 'dissolved', add in drained pasta and stir in parsley. Serve - Parmesan makes it too rich. Yum Smile

having the ingredients in for "posh" sandwiches is good - BLT with posh lettuce Grin, steak sarnies with mushrooms; avocado, tomato and mozzarella etc. Have yummy bread in, or use those part baked baguettes. If you've always got herbs growing (basil and parsley I think are particularly useful) they can be pepped up to be quite gastro-pubby!

If you have the energy for more cooking, rice and pataks curries are nice and easy, and you can throw in whatever you've got into the curry.

Salmon (poached or grilled) with couscous and whatever veggies you have (I most often do a courgette and pepper stir fry).

Even if you're not veggie (I'm not, I just like vegetables!), the Rose Elliot book of veggie meals in 30 minutes has quite a lot of ideas. You can also Shock add meat to them where you want to!

Having tinned pulses in is useful, as are fish that you can microwave from frozen and just stir into a pasta mix or curry or whatever.

chicken wraps - chicken breast sliced and sprinkled liberally with cajun spice, then fried, adding onions and peppers once it's cooked, then put mixture in wraps with tomato salsa (or whatever you like - sour cream or guacamole etc) - is my DP's particular favourite!
