Bought Xmas pud

do you attempt to get it out of it's little packet thingy? Think it would look nicer out of it but not sure I can be faffed & it might fall apart

I can spear lid a few times and whack in microwave for four minutes but then it'll look a bit shite

What do you non making Xmas pud people do?

Lob in microwave. Turn out onto plate. Stick something green, ideally Holly, on top. Remove green when you chuck brandy over it and set it alight. Will be fine.

I have no microwave so its being steamed in its plastic pot for 30mins. I bought individual ones. TBH it looks shite in or out of the packaging but the custard and cream should hide the mess in the bowl and by the time we get to pudding no-one will be sober enough to care anyway.

Only cos I bought indoor sparklers to shove in top and light to detract from shop bought pud , ha ha
