Please help me cook ham 4 christmas dinner

I'm new to cooking Xmas dinner. I don't want anything flash, just simple recipes are perfect. I have a ham joint and beef joint to cook tomorrow. I'm ok with the beef but how do I cook ham? Do I just wrap foil round and roast it? Will it take as long as beef (same size joints). Thank u

Make sure you don't have to soak it first. Put some apple juice, cider or water, peppercorns, Bay leaf, cloves etc. in with it cover in foil and cook in the oven for 1 hour per kilo.

Once it's done, take it out, take the skin off (you'll need to leave about half an hour before you can do this) score the fat and glaze with brown sugar or honey, and mustard. Put it back in the oven until the glazed fat bubbles and looks like it's going to burn.

Ok then soak it for an hour or two before cooking.
