what bread do I use in a panini press? Bought one for ds1 as he loves bacon paninis in Cafe Nero, but have just remembered that I'd better make sure we've got the right bread in for Xmas morning!

Got DH a panini press a couple of years ago, then wrapped a pack of part baked baguettes, a triangle of brie and a pack of bacon separately and made him open them first!

You can use any bread but we like either ciabattas or the part baked baguettes

baguettes from in store bakeries (wet a little on outside if too cruncy)
normal sliced bread
ciabattas
supermarket instore bakeries usually do panini type rolls

can really use any type of bread you fancy.

I use sub rolls, but have done it with all sorts! Bacon and brie paninis are soooooo good! X

Smile at the extra kiss - I don't mind, it's late and I need a hug after wrapping all flipping evening!
Thanks for the info , I'll get ciabatta and some baguettes !
