Slow cooker beef stew ideas

I have some diced beef I'd like to make a tasty beef stew with in the slow cooker for dinner on Christmas Eve. Does anyone have any good recipes please?

it would seem not, perhaps google it 'beef stew with guinness' its on the about.com home cooking site! It is delicious and super easy. making it for christmas eve myself and serving with mash potatoe and red cabbage. Yum
