what to give for breakfast

I was just reading another thread where someone said that they didn't consider yoghurt and crackers a healthy breakfast and this got me thinking. What do you give your kids for breakfast? My ds is 14 months and he gets weetabix (too much sugar and salt I know but better than most other cereals) or porrige most days with pureed fruit mixed in.

Also he gets wholemeal toast and cream cheese or cheddar cheese if still hungry (and believe me he often is) or more fruit.
Once or twice a week he gets omelette or scrambled eggs. However on some days I give him yoghurt and toast or plain crackers/ricecakes - particularly if he isn't very hungry (The yoghurt is organic yoghurt usually plain which I mix with pureed fruit or sometimes a yeo valley organic one - which has some sugar added)

Breakfast always seems so difficult to do well but needs to be quick as I work 3 days a week and ds needs to be up, fed and out quite fast.

Just wondering what most people think of as a 'healthy' breakfast since yoghurt has always been up there with my 'healthy' foods.

I think it's fine also. It's not exactly unhealthy is it? Hardly in the realms of sugar puffs/coco pops and a packet of crisps?!! Or fried food? BTW, I have never thought of crackers for breakfast but I don't know why.

I struggle to get a bowl of porridge into DS. If he ate like yours I would be estatic.
