Cranberry sauce

I'm in charge of the cranberry sauce for christmas dinner this year , how do I make it? I want it to be the best cranberry sauce ever!

I've made St Delia's Cranberry Orange relish and it's yummy..

i make mine by putting cranberries in a pan with a glass of port and a glass of orange juice and simmer gently until all berries have popped

add sugar to taste

Cranberry Sauce

300 g cranberries
1 orange
150 g caster sugar
1 inch cinnamon stick
½ teaspoon ground ginger
4 cloves
125 ml water

Clean cranberries and discard any damaged/rotten ones.

Roughly chop cranberries using hand blender ? it doesn?t matter if some are left whole.

Wash and scrub orange. Peel with potato peeler, and chop orange peel finely.

Add all ingredients to pot.

Bring to boil and simmer for 10 minutes.

Remove cloves and cinnamon ? refrigerate or freeze.
