george foreman grill v bread dough

I own one. It hasn't actually cooked anything in 2 years, but is being pressed into service again.

Anyone have any ideas about cooking bread products in it? I was thinking of making the dough in my bread machine, then cooking it as muffins/crumpets/pitta/naan or something in the grill. I might even put the filling in first, then cook it.

Worth a try or have I finally lost it completely?

I think the risk is you just end up with flat, stripey dough. Hmm I'd put your George Formby on Freecycle & free up the cupboard space.

Anything is worth a go once..... what have you got to lose.

Would be interested in hearing how it goes.

Interested to hear how it goes too, quite like the idea of filled rolls

Does a george get hot enough to cook naan? iirc they need a really hot oven
