can I freeze potato cakes???

I have made too much potato cake mixture (spuds, onions, spring onions, sweetcorn and a beaten egg)

Can I freeze it???

Am I best to cook them or freeze it uncooked iyswim.

i'd cook it all and then you just have to defrost and warm up.
