My friend made little fairy cakes then drizzled glacé icing in green to make a sort of tree shape and put mini smarties on the ends of the branches like baubles. Looked fab and the kids loved them. Thinking about it she may have even used a green icing pen- dr oetker do them in a pack quite cheaply.

Baby Jesus Cakes!

Choc rice crispy cakes, dent in the middle, put a jelly baby in the dent and cover with a small bit of white fondant icing!

Went down an absolute storm at DD's school (not so much the next year when she'd moved to a church school...ooops!)

I am just making some for DD to take into school tomorrow for her party. I've made 30 tiny vanilla fairy cakes (in petit four cases) which I'm going to pipe green buttercream on top and sprinkle them with red and white sprinkles. Lay out on a cake board in a christmas tree shape. The top cake will have a gold sugarpaste star on top!

I did a larger version with cupcakes a couple of weeks ago - there's a pic on my profile.

Christmas cake pops are fun.
