roasting x2 chickens at the same time?

Stupid question alert!

If I'm roasting two chickens at the same time, in the same roasting dish (one which needs 1hr 20 and one which needs 1hr 40) do I just cook each one for their stated time, or do I need to increase the cooking time on both?

Thanks in advance - they're in the oven now so will check back when I'm home from the school run.

they may need a bit longer - not always - so suggest checking. i would also turn them round half way through so both sides get cooked

We often roast two chickens together. As dreaming says, turn them so they both get all sides of the oven IYSWIM. Should not need a whole lot longer, especially if you are using a fan oven.

I usually just turn the oven up slightly instead!

Thanks both - Did them for a bit longer, turned them as suggested, turned out lovely. Grin.
