Lamb bone soup recipe?

Please can anyone recommend me a good soup to make using a lamb bone that (due to my crap butchery skills) still has a fair bit of meat on it?
I have mushrooms, carrots, onions, pearl barley, etc that I can also put into it - jut not sure whether I need to rast the bone first.

Thanks!

Simmer the bone in water for an hour or so. Skim off the fat and cut the bits of meat off the bone. Put them back in the stock with veggies and pearl barley and a hefty wodge of cumin/garam masala. When veg cooked, add some haricot/butter beans and frozen peas and cook. Blitz about 1/4 of the soup in blender or with hand-held thing. Hey presto a thick chunky Moroccan soup! (add Harissa, etc for a spicier flavour). Freezes beautifully too Wink
