I'm looking for a good recipe for peanut brittle where the brittle bit is sort of like crunchy butterscotch rather than just crunchy caramel.
I have seen a recipe for microwave peanut brittle but it only contains 1 teaspoon of butter and you put bicarb in at the end which makes me think it will turn out a bit sort of honeycombish which I don't want.
If you remember the American glazed nut/popcorn confection "Poppycock" which used to be available in Tesco, then that's the sort of texture I'm after.
