Taste it first?

IDK I tend to be more wary of 'Sell by' than 'Best Before', and a couple of days past would probably be fine but 26 days is a long time even if it's going to be cooked.

On the other hand you've now made me sure that I want curry for dinner tonight so I'm going to have to go get some myself now

Its still sealed in one of those plastic pouches that you need scissors to get into. Not sure what it tastes like 'raw' and I only ever make muttur paneer with it.

Curry is gooooood.

It tastes very bland (but nice enough that I always scoff a few bits when I prepare it Blush) Tangier than mozzarella though which is the closest thing I can compare it too (the block stuff not the wet one)

Curry is definitely good and a quick family vote has sealed it. I've got Paratha in the freezer so just need to get some yogurt and paneer Smile

What's paratha?

Paratha - it's a kind of flatbread. My local big Tesco does them frozen and you just dry fry them for a couple of minutes. DS2 hates rice so we always have that and Naan bread so he's not just eating chicken, cheese and sauce Smile They're very nice.
