Hiya!

Does anyone have any idea the best way to freeze cranberries and how long I can keep them frozen?

Just bung them in a freezer bag and they'll be fine. They might loose their shape a bit - are you using them for cranberry sauce? I'd make the sauce and freeze that instead.

Yes, but was also going to make some tropical mincemeat. The recipe says best if made a month before use which tends to be while I'm home in the States for Thanksgiving (but I couldn't find cranberries before we went away) so thought if I freeze some I could make my tropical mincemeat in Sept/Oct when I make my ordinary mincemeat.

I've just defrosted some today that have been in a bag in the freezer since last December. They appear no different to the fresh cranberries I bought a few days ago.

Cranberries freeze great as they are firm unlike other berries which get all squished together. I have some cranberries from a year ago. I used some the other day and they seemed fine.
