Cocktails using Amaretto/Disonaro (or summat!)

Want to make a yummy cocktail with amaretto licqueur - any ideas???

Actually, when I think about it, DH used to make me warm Amaretto with cream when I had a cold.

You can pour it over ice cream too, tastes lovely.

Amaretto sour - vodka, lemon juice, amaretto - shake, serve over ice. Yum.

God I love Amaretto! Thanx for suggestions!

Just had a thought, we always have cream soda in the house at xmas - would this be good with amaretto for a vanilla/almond type bevvy?

Amaretto and cranberry juice is looovely.... tastes like marachino cherries! and an Amaretto cherry sour is good too same as recipe above but muddle some marachino cherries in the glass first. :)

Strawberry shortcake is one of my fave cocktails, uses amaretto, but for this one you really want to wait til the summer when strawberries are back in season...

Toasted Almond and PS I Love You are also really nice amaretto-based cocktails (I'm noticing a pattern here, I clearly have a thing for creamy cocktails!)

I really want to try it with cranberry juice because I read somewhere that it tastes like Bakewell Pudding.

Ok so have spent the past half hour googling amaretto cocktails.... I may spend the rest of the day trying them!

Warm milk and amaretto before bedtime for me (Am I getting old?!)

Mix amaretto with vanilla icecream til it's like McDonalds milkshake consistency. Pour into a glass on top of a marachino cherry and drink through a straw. Divine.

Ferrari Jack -1 part amaretto, 1 part Jack Daniels, squeeze of lime, top up with Coke. Best cocktail ever!

Amaretto and Baileys is lovely! I love Amaretto, think I need to get some cranberry juice and ice cream now!

I do Amaretto sour as Amaretto & sweet and sours served over ice and cherries.
