I am looking at electric ones rather than a stove top one. I take it they are all pretty much the same? Thinking forward to veg for 16 on boxing day.

Just make sure it has a proper timer, rather than one that is timed by the water you add ie it switches itself off when water runs out.

I had a cheap Hinari which was much better than the more expensive Tefal that I inherited from MIL which had the water type timer.

YY get one with a proper time. I absolutely love mine and love being able to time to the minute how long the veg will take so that it comes out once everything else is plated up instead of trying to worry about boiling water and stoves and the like.
