I am cooking for ILs tonight and struggling for inspiration.

I am pescatarian and MIL cannot have wheat.

I have some salmon, haddock, cod and prawns, some new potatoes and a bit of broccoli.

What can I create?

Also stuck for nice wheat free dessert.. (we always seem to end up with meringues)

ANy thoughts

Fish pie with sliced new potatoes on top (like a hot pot style top)? with broccoli.
Cod & broccoli mornay (without the breadcrumb topping)

Forgive my ignorance, does a wheat free diet exclude rice? Your list of ingredients shouts paella to me!

There are loads of recipes for rich, flourless chocolate cake which would be lovely with some raspberry coulis.

Thank you

Fish pie or mornay are good but MIL does amazing fish pie so it would have to live up to that!!

oh if only...I would love paella but another spanner in the works is FIL who isnt keen on rice :(

Will google flourless cakes

You could cook the fish 'en papillote' (in some foil/greaseproof paper) with a bit of white wine/vermouth/stock/orange juice and serve it with boiled new pots and broccoli.

This time of year - baked apples are a yummy warming and seasonal pud - or spiced poached pears.
