Am I going to die?

I have just bought lunch in the canteen. In an effort to be healthy after eating far too richly for a week I bought I bottle of water, a prawn sandwich and an orange.
Not until I was halfway through the second half of my sandwich did I notice that it smelled funny. I also took time tasting it and decided it tasted a 'bit off'.
Add to this I am 33 weeks pregnant, with an oversensitive sense of smell.
So my question is this. Am I going to die?

Probably not, may get the runs or be sick but the chances are you will be fine.

Yes. We're all going to die.

If you think the prawns were off, consult your midwife. They are unlikely to do more than give you bad guts (I drank 'off' milk when pg) but you could do with checking with the midwife re possible risks to the baby.

Was there a best before date on the sarnie, or was it made in the canteen? Either way I would go down and have a word with the canteen supervisor, just in case.

Has anyone else had a taste of the sarnie? (Assuming after you thought it was a bit off you didn't finish the second one!) It could just be pregnancy paranoia - understandable as that is.

It seems pretty unlikely this sarnie's been hanging around since before New Year, but worth investigating. Hope you're doing okay.

Oh well. I'm still alert and I fell okay, si i guess I'll be fine.
Thanks for the reassurance
