Bought dried mango for dd whose weaning as some one recommended it to chew on, but gut it home and realised its 3% salt what else can I do with it?

Give it to her. She'll probably just gum it to death anyway.

are you sure its not 3% of daily intake of salt?

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 14/11/2011 17:52

If it's on the front of the pack and displayed as a percentage, I would put money on it being 3% of rda, as ChangeyMcChangeaLot said

Argh I'm such an idiot of course it's 3% of daily intake Blush what % on the back of the packet is ok for babies?

well they can have up to 1g upto 12 months then 2 g for 1 to 2 year olds.

I think if it's sodium, you have to multiply by 2 or 3 to get the salt equivalent.

Oh and an adult is recommended no more than 6g per day.
