Cheese board?

We're having 8 round for dinner later, planning on opening a bottle of vintage Port at the end, DH just asked what have I bought for the cheese board, I haven't!

I'm making nibbley things with goats cheese, and chorizo, to have when they arrive, then venison in port, with spiced red cabbage, and celeriac and potato puree, followed by chocolate truffle torte or lemon pots, then Port, coffee and Florentines. Do I need to get some cheese?

It's nice to offer a selection of attractive cheeses even if your guests say 'no thanks' and they go back in the fridge.

Yes (IMHO)

You don't need to, but it would go very well with a glass of port!

Mmmm cheese and port . I would get some cheese if your planning on offering port. Alternatively cancel port and offer Irish coffees/ nip of whiskey instead.
