Makinf these for DC's tonight found a recipe, do I need to pre cook sausages?

Daft question I know recipe doesn't say, guessing not.

Yes you do - at least my mum always did. Pre-cook in the oven in the container you're going to cook the toad in. Ie patty tin for mini (fond memories of childhood yorkshires!)

I cook for about 5-10 minutes in the same tin, then you can use the fat from sausages for batter to cook
