How long to cook a steak pie for?

DH purchased what I'm sure will be a lovely steak pie from the butchers yesterday but I have no idea what temperature to cook it at or for how long.

Any idea anyone? Small/medium steak pie, fan assisted oven.

TIA

i'd give it a minimum 25 mins at a med heat, not too high up, or your pastry will burn

but you might not need to worry about that in a fan oven.

Maybe longer if it is one of the deep rectangle ones....I was thinking it was a round shallow one.

It's one of the deep rectangle ones and yes, pastry already cooked.

Thanks for replies.

So I'm thinking about 30 mins at 170 - does that sound about right?
