I'm thinking of making this and was hoping for some advice.

I don't have any garam masala, but the shop I pass doesn't have a great selection of spices. If I can't get any what do you think I could use instead?

If I freeze, should I do that before adding the yoghurt?

Thanks.

Yes to freezing before adding yogurt, or it will split when you reheat.

Can you increase the others spices a tiny bit, and add cinnemon and cloves?

That's what I thought with the yoghurt.

I'll try that with the spices.

Thanks.

Garam masala is only a final seasoning. You could leave it out all together and it wouldn't matter. Or grate a little nutmeg on top with, as suggested above, a tiny amount of cinnamon and ground black pepper. 'Allspice' isn't a bad substitute.

Thanks.

As it turned out I couldn't get a few things that I need for the next few days, so I'm going to make a trip to Sainsburys.
