Hummingbird bakery marshmallow cupcakes - can I cheat?

If I CBA to melt the marshmallows before I put them in the middle of the cake but just put them in whole, would it still be nice?

I always melt them, I don't think it would be nice other wise. The point is to have that gooey texture in the middle.

Uses hot spoon when dealing with the melted marsh mallow it makes it easier .
