quick dumb question about making crumble with frozen fruit

do I need to defrost the fruit (plums) first or just extend the cooking time?

Neither- you should be fine just whacking it in- it gets hot in that oven- 45 mins should do the trick ;O)

Cook from frozen, are they chopped? Add some sugar on top - just a smidge, cook for about 30-35 minutes.

cooked from frozen, but it was still undercooked in the middle after an hour! tasty round the edges though :) think I will defrost first next time.
