Vanilla pod/essense?

I'm making a couple of things over the next few days that need the seeds of a Vanilla pod, I only managed to buy one vanilla pod (need three) but I have a big bottle of vanilla essense, anyone know how much vanilla essense to substitute for the seeds of a vanilla pod?
