How to you cook a whole duck?

DH has decided to have duck for Christmas dinner and has just thought he does not know how to cook it!! HELP!!!

How high would you have the oven for that Enid?

He's agreed! I going to get one for next week sometime.

I did one a few days ago and had the oven at 220C.

the beauty of the method is that you can pre-prepare the duck half in advance. I had poached mine the morning before then when people arrived it only took half an hour.
