Freezing mash and potatoes

If you freeze mash do you open freeze it or put it straight into tubs/freezer bags?

When reheating do you defrost it first either in the fridge or microwave or do you just nuke it on high in the microwave?

Does anyone freeze peeled potatoes or cut up chip shaped ones ready for boiling, roasting or frying? Do you blanch them first or peel and put straight into the freezer?

Hi.
Just what I do...Freeze mash straight into tubs/bags.
Generally defrost then heat.
Parboil peeled potatoes for roasting, then freeze.
Never frozen ready for boiling/chips, sorry.
