This year I'm trying this recipe www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/1160/simmerandstir-christmas-cake?pager.offset=20

and I have an 18cm deep (worried cake will be too high and not cook evenly) round tin or a 23cm shallow round tin (worried cake may burn round edge and cook too quickly) but not a 20cm tin.. advice please, which one should I go for?

Sorry posted first message too soon.
