Cale, Again!

Ok, I've found something that is either the best kale recipe ever, or very good grounds for divorce. It's cale pesto . I don't know whether it will be tasty or nasty, in a looks-like-pesto-tastes-like-cale sort of way.

Anyone tried this?

Cavalo Nero is a little different from the Curly Kale that we get in our supermarkets. That said I think it is an interesting idea and worth a try.

cavolo nero is godlike food, I adore it, esp with a roast.
Kale not so keen on but with butter it's ok...

I was working with Curly Kale, rather than Black Kale. It came out ... ok. Too much garlic. Waaaaay too much garlic.

What can I do with the leftovers to make them less garlicy? Add mascarpone? Add milk? More pasta?
