I normally roast them in milk/cream and some cheese. Need to be less fat so what else can I do other than boiling them please?

Cut them into big chunks and roast alongside baby onions, new potatoes, cloves of garlic etc. Yum.

That sounds lovely but I haven't got any onions and have already made mash. Do you put olive oil on the leeks?

Yup.

Oh if you've already made the mash, just saute the sliced leeks then stir them into the mash. Cheese is good here too!

If you want really low fat, they cook really well in the microwave, and stay nice and green. Just cook on full power and keep an eye on them so as not to burn.

roast alone drizzled in olive oil, sprinkled with sea salt and lots of black pepper. About 30 mins at 190ish?
