Steaming Veg?

I know this is probably a no brainer, but I can't work it out!

How can I steam veg without having a steamer?

Tis for my PFB first BLW meal, :o!

I use my metal colander over a saucepan of boiling water. Small saucepan for small amount of veg, bigger saucepan for things like cabbage. Pop the pan lid over vegetables and bob's your uncle!

You can steam in a microwave too.
